Wooden Anglican Prayer Beads

The thirty three bead design was created by Rev Lynn Baumann in the mid 1980’s during a study group about methods of prayer. The touching of each successive bead is an aid to keep our minds from wandering during contemplative prayer.

Anglican Prayer beads are linked to the Celtic tradition which celebrates the sanctity of God’s creation, hence the use of a Celtic Cross. In true Anglican tradition there is no singular or correct way to use the beads. There are many sequences that can be followed.

This is one of three different basic varieties of prayer beads: Wooden
This version uses wooden beads and a silver coloured or glass cross.

Each comes in a card presentation box. The illustrations are a taste of what we can offer. As with all our items, each is individually made and may vary from the examples here.

We also have available a handy A6 size card explaining the Prayer beads and their use.

Price per item: £18.00
